2025 Female Athlete Conference

This year I was given the opportunity to work alongside some of the amazing women at the forefront of advancing the health and performance of female athletes during the 2025 Female Athlete Conference.

I had the privilege of capturing the true emotion of what these talented individuals have presented, from groundbreaking research to inspirational firsthand accounts of what being a female athlete truly entails. Being a collegiate female athlete myself, it was truly eye-opening to see the behind-the-scenes. For me, the talk that had the most impact was delivered by USA Olympic cyclist Alison Tetrick. Her story of injuries and the struggle with mental health as an athlete was similar to my own. In my photography journey, my main drive is to capture what it truly is to be an athlete. However, there are often struggles much deeper than what we bring to the field. The Female Athlete Conference shines a light on the deficit of research on female athletes at all stages and advocates for the needs that aren’t being met for females in the industry.

The feeling of being among these women was not like any other I have felt, and I can only hope my photos do them justice to everything they have fought and continue to fight for.

2025 Wentworth Special Olympics Basketball Game

This year I became a member of the Wentworth SAAC (Student Athlete Advisory Commitee) representing the men's and women's Track & Field and Cross Country Teams. Along with being the designated representative for my teams I was also a chair for the committees' social media.

We had the pleasure of working with Special Olympics Massachusetts to plan this amazing event. In partner with the other Colleges of the Fenway athletic programs including Emmanual and Simmons, we had an astounding turn out of students that showed up to support the athletes. And the game did not disappoint as right after the whistle blew each team started with a 3 pointer!

As a social media chair, I was asked to photograph the game, and I can tell you it wasn't like any other game I had photographed before. the electricity from the crowed and the pure joy from the athletes was truly inspiring!

Wounded Warrior Project Fundraiser Hockey Game

Wentworth vs UNE

Like any other game my boss put me on the schedule for a varsity hockey game, this time he regretted to inform me that it would be at the Warrior Ice Areana. Needless to say, I was thrilled because after only a few short months of photography I not only would be shooting at the Warrior but for the Wounded Warrior Project.

The rink staff and both teams where amazing to work with, especially helping me navigate the maze of doors underneath the rink to find where I needed to be!

Wentworth Club Hockey Jersey Reveal Project

The club hockey team is one of my favorite teams to work with on campus. Since I was new to photography and new to campus, I decided to make an effort to practice on as many teams as I could which happened to land me at the first club hockey game of the season. They were a team without a photographer, and I was a newbie that wanted some more practice.

This year Club Hockey had received a very generous donation of brand-new jerseys and socks from Florida Applied Products LLC. This sparked my first large scale project with the team. the goal was to keep the new jerseys a secret from the majority of the team while also making a highlight video and doing a series of photoshoots! it was not the easiest task as we were also filming on campus, but after almost 2 full months of shooting and filming we surprised the team with their new jerseys and the video!

Club Hockey is always accepting donations to help support the cost of ice time and busses for the team so please consider donating!
